Former Unijos Students' Union Government Assistant secretary general comes top in the 2023 Association of Nigerian Authors prize for children's Literature.

Emmanuel Zaka, son of a renowned Benue born Journalist, ace broadcaster and seasoned politician, Samuel Zaka of blessed memory came top at the announcement of finalists/ winners of the 2023 Association of Nigerian Authors (Benue State Chapter) prize for Literature.

Originally twelve entries were received, of which two were disqualified as announced by Dr. Joshua Agbo on behalf Prof. Leticia Nyitse and Mr. Onah Ode who were the Judges at the 2023 A N.A - Benue convention held on the 8th September, 2023 at the BENCEDI hall, Makurdi - Benue State.The contest, very competitive, saw names as, Igba Ogbole (Second runner up), Ornguze Nathaniel (first runner up) and Angela Atsuwe (Winner).

Emmanuel Zaka, immediate past Chief press secretary to the President, National Association North Central Students (NANCS) and former Assistant Secretary General of the Student union Government, Unijos, an author with two titles; A Journey with Samuel Zaka and The Dark Diary, came third runner up with his 1490 words short story, The power of friendship.

Being the youngest among the finalists, the flair to write will double as he desires to add more laurels to his collections as his writing prowess is second to none.
